A man is in a critical condition in hospital and two others have been arrested on suspicion of assault, South Wales Police have said. The alleged incident happened on Monday, December 22 between 4pm and 9pm at Pentyrch Street in Cathays.
In a statement on Christmas Day a spokesperson for the force said a 37-year-old man was conveyed to hospital where he remains in a critical condition. They said: “Two men have been arrested on suspicion of assault and remain in police custody.
“Officers are keen to speak to anyone who was in the area, has dash-cam footage, or witnessed the incident which occurred between 4pm and 9pm on Monday, December 22.”
