Brandon Hemming-Smith, who works at Latimer Court in Worcester, has just received his 10-year award.

Mr Hemming-Smith, who has worked continuously at the home on Darwin Avenue for a decade, was presented with a gold pin and vouchers by general manager Donna Tustin to mark the occasion.

Mr Hemming-Smith said: “Latimer Court is like a family to me, I can’t quite believe it has been 10 years already.

“I really enjoy working at the home, looking after the residents.”

He described the past 10 years as having ‘flown by’ so much so that he hopes to continue in the role for another 10.

Ms Tustin said: “Brandon is one of those people who was born to care for others – he has such a huge heart and is greatly loved by the individuals living at Latimer Court Care Home.

“He is an inspiration to his colleagues and we will all look forward to more years to come.”

Latimer Court care home is run by Barchester Healthcare, one of the UK’s largest care providers, and provides residential, nursing and dementia care for 80 residents.
