An internet outage has affected some Ardersier addresses.
Some residents in Ardersier were hit by surprise as an internet outage affected the area between yesterday and today.
The first issues appeared with broadband yesterday (July 30) at around 9am.
According to Openreach, that the outage affected less than 20 customers and was caused by a damaged cable, which should soon be repaired, and work was underway today to fix the issue.
An Openreach spokesperson said: “We’re working to repair a damaged cable which is affecting a small number of broadband services in the village of Ardersier.
“It’s not clear how the cable was damaged, but we’re doing everything we can to reconnect customers as quickly as possible and we thank them for their patience.
“Any customers who are affected should report issues to their service provider.”
