Australia all-rounders Ellyse Perry and Annabel Sutherland have withdrawn from the upcoming season of the Women’s Premier League, but leg-spinner Alana King has signed up as a replacement.
Perry was due to represent 2024 winners Royal Challengers Bengaluru again, while Sutherland was due to represent Delhi Capitals again.
King will replace Sutherland, having previously played one game for UP Warriorz last season.
India all-rounder Sayali Satghare, who has played three one-day internationals, has replaced Perry.
USA left-arm seamer Tara Norris will also miss the tournament due to international commitments and has been replaced by Australia’s Charli Knott.
The fourth edition of the tournament begins on 9 January.
