Former Derby County midfielder Louie Sibley has signed for League One Bradford City on loan until the end of the season.
Sibley leaves Oxford where he has struggled for minutes this season and has made just 19 appearances for the Us since joining them following his Rams exit in the summer of 2024.
The 24-year-old will hope to bring his promotion-winning expertise to the Bantams, however, with the club currently in the top six of League One.
Sibley played 38 times as Derby secured promotion in the 2023/24 season as they returned to the Championship under then boss Paul Warne.
Speaking about his move to City, Sibley said: “I am really excited to be here.
“As soon as you come to this club, you get a positive feeling about it. The last couple of weeks have been good, speaking to the manager. I just cannot wait to get going now.
“The interest has been there for a while, and as soon as I spoke to the manager, I had a gut feeling. I know this is a massive club, and it was an easy decision.”
City boss Graham Alexander added: “We are very happy to bring Louie to our club, especially at this early stage of the window. He has great experience for someone of his age.
“While speaking with him, we could feel his hunger to come here and join our group. He has all the attributes we know will fit in perfectly with what we do, and who we are.”
Sibley has been handed the number 40 shirt and his move is subject to the relevant EFL clearances.
