Eastenders fans were left ‘screaming’ after romance began to blossom between two unexpected characters in Albert Square.
It’s been a week of change on the BBC soap, with Kat Slater getting to grips with running the Queen Vic for the first time in over a decade.
Buying the establishment with Stacey Slater from Linda Carter, Kat stunned Alfie with her purchase when he returned from Spain earlier in the week.
The bulk of this week’s action have seen the pair at odds with one another, with Alfie keeping the fact that he was with her daughter Zoe a secret.
Despite the pair only tying the knot last month, it remains unclear if their marriage will be able to survive Alfie’s big secret eventually coming to light.
However, in scenes that aired on Wednesday (July 30) an unlikely new couple may have formed in front of viewers’ eyes.
Currently working for Ravi Gulati, Harry Mitchell was forced to allow the dodgy Okie to continue to bring drugs into his friend Kojo Asare’s flat.

Adding to the pressure mounting on Harry, Kojo’a brother George Knight was taking his time moving in with Phil Mitchell as he previously revealed.
Knowing that his mum Nicola Mitchell is determined to win back his trust, Harry asked her to do him a favour in order to help mend their fragile relationship.
Distracting George long enough for Okie to do his business, Harry persuaded him to go to wine bar Harry’s Barn as Nicola was looking for a bar manager.
While the dodgy dealings were taking place, Nicola revealed to George that she was looking for a bouncer if he really wanted a job. Pointing out that she wanted someone with a cool personality, it wasn’t long before the pair began to flirt with each other.
Finishing placing the drugs into a bag and wiping stolen phones, Harry sent his mum a message to let her know that she didn’t need to to distract George for any longer.
Little does he know that Nicola and George were in bed together as they engaged in some not so family friendly activities in bed.
EastEnders fans rushed to social media following the episode to have their say on a pairing that could become one of the most chaotic in the show’s history.

The pair don’t have the best track record when it comes to love, with George recently dumped by Elaine Peacock and Teddy Mitchell leaving Nicola after her evil past was exposed.
