Popular streamer Oblivion, real name Christian Beatriz, might not have enjoyed his recent meet up with Ryan Garcia all that much.

Garcia is one of the more popular boxers out there thanks to his social media antics, and ‘King Ry’ handed a bit of a beating on Oblivion during his most recent stream.

The pair were having a bit of a light sparring session and things looked to be going fine. Oblivion was wearing a helmet but that wasn’t enough to keep Garcia from beating him up.

It all stated with Garcia taking a bit of a break. Oblivion decided to sneak attack Garcia from behind and landed some shots.

That was enough for Garcia to go up a gear. Oblivion was hit several times flush in the face. He was also beat up while on the couch, and ‘King Ry’ teed him up quite a few times during the session.

Garcia also sent a message after the flurry of cheap shots:

“This is the perfect example, f*** around, find out. You play too much, you get it.”

This isn’t Oblivion’s first foray into boxing. As with most streamers these days, the American has fought on YouTuber cards and has a 2-1 professional record.

The American won his first two fights and lost to Julian Newman in his last outing.

Ryan Garcia back in action as he prepares for title shot

Ryan Garcia will be fighting in February 2026 as he takes on Mario Barrios for the WBC World Welterweight title. This will be Garcia’s return fight after a shock loss to Rolando Romero in May 2025.

Garcia was the favourite coming in that fight, but things didn’t go his way. ‘King Ry’ lost the fight via unanimous decision.

Garcia holds a boxing record of 24 wins, 2 losses and one no contest. His losses have come against Romero and Gervonta Davis.

Barrios holds a record of 24 wins, 2 losses and 2 draws. His last fight was against boxing legend Manny Pacquiao, which also ended in a draw.
