The Masked Singer fans believe that they rumbled Arctic Fox’s identity just seconds into their performance.
The seventh series of the popular ITV mystery show made its comeback on Sunday (January 4), featuring six fresh characters gracing the stage.
Arctic Fox kicked off proceedings, with viewers claiming they’d cracked the mystery within moments of hearing them perform, despite the celebrity’s attempts to mask their natural speaking tone.
“Arctic Fox is Anton Du Beke,” one viewer posted on X (formerly Twitter), whilst another chimed in: “That’s Anton Du Beke!”
A third declared: “Arctic Fox is 100% Anton Du Beke, I’d recognise that voice anywhere!” with another similarly stating: “Anton Du Beke is 100% arctic fox and he’s gone way up in my estimation actually. High camp, I hope he wins!!” reports the Mirror.

A fourth supporter reinforced the theory, commenting: “I have a feeling Arctic Fox is @TheAntonDuBeke, not only has he had previous singing experience but he has a puppy called Fox and a book called CodeName Foxtrot. Then the Arctic starts with A and so does Anton?? Am I going crazy??”
The judging line-up – Davina McCall, Jonathan Ross, Mo Gilligan and Maya Jama – offered varying theories, with suggestions including Glenn Close, Bimini Bon Boulash, Adam Lambert and Queen Camilla.
During the clue segment, Arctic Fox mentioned being ready to “dazzle and delight” and disclosed that they “always expect the red carpet treatment”, which could tie into Strictly. They continued: “This Arctic Fox has sharp claws when needed.”
The character also revealed that they have dedicated years to honing their skills, whether performing in front of cameras or working behind the scenes, whilst displaying a jar labelled “food for hungry bears”. Might viewers have already cracked the identity of this mysterious performer?
This evening’s show also featured performances from Conker, Toastie, Tea Bag, Yak and Monkey Business.

Saturday night’s opening episode (January 3) showcased performances from Sloth, Can of Worms, Gargoyle, Disc Jockey and Moth. As the evening drew to a close, Disc Jockey and Gargoyle landed in the danger zone after garnering the fewest votes from the audience.
The judging panel opted to save Gargoyle, resulting in Disc Jockey becoming the first celebrity to face elimination, with The One Show presenter Alex Jones subsequently having her identity revealed.
“I’ve had a lot of fun. We love this programme as a family and I just thought to do it for the children would be wonderful. It’s the most bizarre experience of my life, but I’ve loved it, thank you,” Alex told host Joel Dommett.
Addressing her children directly through the camera, the presenter added: “Teddy, Kit and Annie, this was for you. I hope you loved it. Love you.”
This weekend has also witnessed the programme debut its first-ever live band, with pop sensation Anne-Marie and Matt Lucas commanding the spotlight as Goldfish and Emperor Penguin.
