The pressure appears to be mounting on England as yet another gruelling Ashes campaign in Australia winds down.
The tourists managed to win the MCG dead rubber but are heading for a draw at best, or possibly a fourth loss for the series against the Aussies in Sydney.
Having already lost the Ashes series in record time, there seems to be some simmering tension within the English dressing room.

It threatened to reach boiling point on Tuesday when, late in the day, Steve Smith hit a single to square leg and both Ollie Pope and Will Jacks attempted to field it.
Pope got to the ball first but Jacks – his county teammate at Surrey – accidentally ran into him.
Pope stared daggers at Jacks and had a word to him as the latter trudged away sheepishly.
“He’s had one of those days in the field, Will Jacks, hasn’t he,” England great Michael Vaughan said on Fox Cricket.

Aussie women’s captain Alyssa Healy said, “I don’t think Ollie Pope was too happy about that”, while Adam Gilchrist noted, “I don’t think that was a light-hearted exchange”.
Earlier in the day Jacks had dropped an absolute sitter off Travis Head.
It’s not the first time this series England’s players have clashed.
In Adelaide, captain Ben Stokes had a tense moment with fast bowler Jofra Archer, who wasn’t too keen to celebrate a wicket with his skipper.
