Leroy Ranson, of Wherstead Road, Ipswich, denied both offences during a plea hearing at Suffolk Magistrates’ Court on January 7.
The charges relate to incidents that took place on March 4, 2025, in Ipswich.
The defendant is accused of assaulting a health care assistant and an advanced clinical practitioner, both while they were performing their duties.
Each carries a maximum penalty of 12 months’ imprisonment.
Following the hearing, Ranson was granted unconditional bail and a trial date has been set for January 27 next year at Suffolk Magistrates’ Court.
