Marcus Rashford’s loan spell at Barcelona is up and running
Marcus Rashford has taken to Instagram after making his second appearance for Barcelona on Thursday afternoon.
The 26-year-old was a half-time substitute in the La Liga champions’ 7-3 win over K-League outfit FC Seoul in South Korea.
Rashford, who joined Barcelona on loan from Manchester United earlier this month, marked his second appearance for his new side with an assist.
Posting to Instagram after the game on Thursday, the England international said: “Second game, second W. Thanks Seoul for the love.”
Thursday’s game in the Far East also saw Rashford reunited with former team-mate and close friend Jesse Lingard, who plays for the South Korean side. Lingard, 32, played 81 minutes at the Seoul World Cup Stadium.

England international Rashford has not played for United since December 2024 after falling out of favour under Ruben Amorim at Old Trafford.
The forward spent the second half of last season at Aston Villa, where he regained both form and fitness ahead of making the switch to Camp Nou this summer.
After signing for the Spanish giants earlier this month, Rashford said: “I’m very excited. It’s a club where people’s dreams come true, they win big prizes.
“What the club stands for means a lot for me. I feel like I’m at home and a big factor in my choice to come here is because it is a family place and a good place for good players to showcase their skills.
“Another factor is the conversations I had with [Hansi Flick] were positive. What he did last season was terrific. To lead such a young team to a very successful season and come back to pre-season and still want to do more, it shows me everything I thought I knew about the club and it’s everything I wished.
“I’m eager to learn the Barcelona way.”
