A second man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving after a cyclist was killed in a hit-and-run.

Avon and Somerset Police said the crash occurred on North Street in Bedminster, Bristol, at about 12:30 GMT on Sunday.

The force said the car involved left the scene but was later tracked down, and a man in his 20s was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, failing to stop and driving while unfit.

The second man, described by police as an “adult teenager”, was also arrested on suspicion of driving while unfit. Both men remain in police custody.
