Keith Boyes does not have his own financial adviser yet but is sure he will one day.

Boyes (pictured) is a chartered financial planner and founder of his own advice firm, Spentwell. He is, by his own admission, a financial planning ‘expert’. Dozens of clients entrusted Boyes with their financial advice needs. So why would he not just look to his own resources?

While some advisers might feel pressure to conspicuously eat their own cooking, Boyes is forthright that advisers should look to others for help. The Spentwell founder has ‘skin in the game’ by investing in the same products that he recommends to clients but said he will ‘absolutely go and get my own adviser at some point’ when his financial needs become more complex.
