Money For Nothing, referred to as “Europe’s top Dire Straits tribute band”, will perform for one night only at The Hawth Theatre in Crawley on February 15, at 7.30pm.
The group promises a full evening of some of Dire Strait’s biggest hits, including Romeo and Juliet, Sultans of Swing, Walk of Life, Brothers in Arms, So Far Away and the titular Money For Nothing.
The evening is promised as a must for any rock fan, with limited tickets still available.
The group have travelled the world with their live two-hour show and are currently on a 25th anniversary tour, which will see them play at multiple UK venues across 2026.
They have previously played all over Britain and have also performed in Spain, Portugal and the United Arab Emirates, headlining the main night at Europe’s Biggest Tribute Festival in 2010.
The group will also return to Sussex on September 17, 2026, when they are due to play at the Chequer Mead Theatre in East Grinstead.
Dire Straits were formed by Mark Knopfler, David Knopfler, John Illsley and Pick Withers in 1977.
They have sold more than 120 million albums and spent over 1,000 weeks on the UK charts during their career.
The group’s most successful album, Brothers in Arms, has sold more than 30 million copies worldwide and was the first album to sell a million copies on CD.
The band won multiple Brit and Grammy awards` and were named “the biggest British rock band of the 80s” by Classic Rock magazine.
