The most recent casualty of The Traitors, Jessie, has confessed to feeling like a “ghost” in the castle.

The 28 year old hairstylist met her end in Friday’s episode of the BBC One programme, while Ellie, 33, was expelled. Jessie revealed on the companion show, The Traitors: Uncloaked, that she was “pleased” to have her suspicions about Stephen being a traitor confirmed.

She shared that Ross was the only other participant who sided with her, but after his expulsion in the third episode, she felt isolated.

Jessie expressed: “I am pleased because I had Ross back it up and then he left. I was hoping people might hop on board but no-one did really.” With a grin, she added: “I was a massive ghost in that castle. I was irrelevant, but I guess that’s just what it is.”

Psychologist Ellie also made an appearance on the show, where host Ed Gamble questioned whether her professional background aided her in the game. She responded: “I’ve got a research background so I was trying to think of all the theories that would apply, biases that you might have.

“Confirmation bias is a really classic one we see in The Traitors. As soon as you decide that someone’s a traitor, you then just find evidence to support your theory. I think that’s absolutely what happened with me for Sam. Everything he did, I was like ‘well that’s traitorous’.”

When asked about the challenge of concealing her relationship with fellow contestant Ross from the other players, Ellie admitted: “I definitely found it harder.”

Regarding whether the pair had devised any tactical approaches as a couple, she revealed: “Not too many because we knew that there were just going to be so many surprises that we’d just have to react in the moment.”

She explained their main approach: “I think our major plan was just to bond with different people in the game so that we could defend each other in different social groups.”
