Although Honor has opted not to include advanced sensor technology, the smartwatch is designed to monitor heart status and so provide early warning of an increased risk of atrial fibrillation, irregular heart rhythm or sleep apnea. However, it is important to note that the Honor Watch GS 5 cannot actually diagnose any of these heart problems and is by no means a substitute for a doctor or medical professional. Sleep and cycle tracking, an AI voice assistant and over 100 sports modes round off the smartwatch’s features.
Price and availability
The Honor Watch GS 5 is available in China for 699 yuan (approx. $100). Details about a possible international launch are still pending.
