OnePlus has denied recent reports claiming the company is shutting down. The update comes from Robin Liu, CEO of OnePlus India, who assured users via the social media platform X that the company will continue operating normally.

Recently, a report from Android Headlines surfaced online suggesting that OnePlus is being “dismantled.” The report quickly gained traction, raising concerns among OnePlus customers. However, the claims have now been denied by Robin Liu, the CEO of OnePlus India.

In a post on social media platform X, Liu stated that the recent reports concerning OnePlus India are false. He added that the company will continue to operate normally.

For those unaware, the company has faced increased scrutiny recently. The CEO of OnePlus China recently faced an arrest warrant in Taiwan. Meanwhile, the company reportedly recorded a 20% decline in sales in 2024, according to Omdia Research.

Notably, the brand adjusted its strategy with the launch of the OnePlus 15, which debuted globally in November 2025. The device prioritizes performance over imaging, providing differentiation from parent company Oppo’s camera-centric Find X9 series. Moreover, this approach helped the company lower the price of the OnePlus 15 in its home market. Separately, a recent leak has pointed to a significant battery upgrade for the next-generation OnePlus 16.
