Aberdeen have moved to sign Norwegian international Per Kristian Bratveit to solve their goalkeeping headache.

The 29-year-old has agreed an 18 month deal to move to Pittodrie. The keeper will come in as a free agent after he left Stromsgodset.

Bratveit won’t be eligible for the Livingston game but should be given clearance after that. The player comes in after Nick Suman was ruled out with an ankle injury for several months.

Bratveit will come in and provide competition for Aberdeen No. 1 Dimitar Mitov. He has a wealth of experience. He came through at Haugesund and moved on to Djuragardens, where he won the league in Sweden.

It was also during that time he won his one Norwegian cap. He had loan spells at Groningen and Nimes before he moved back to Norway with Valerenga. Bratveit then moved to Danish side Aarhus and returned to Norway for stints with Odd and Stromsgodset

Meanwhile, Cerezo Osaka have completed the loan deal of Kusini Yengi. He has moved on-loan for the rest of the season.

Peter Ambrose is also still waiting for his visa to return to Hungary.

Aberdeen have agreed a loan deal with Diosgyor for the rest of the season.

DVTK want to take him back to help keep them clear of relegation.

The Nigerian has submitted his paperwork and is waiting for his visa to be issued.

The 23-year-old is still training with the Dons until he gets the green light to finalise his move.

Ambrose made his name in Hungary with Ujpest.

His form convinced Jimmy Thelin to make him one of his first signings.

Ambrose, however, has failed to hold down a top team place with the Dons. Aberdeen have since brought in Toyosi Olusanya.

Meanwhile, Aberdeen have agreed a co-operation agreement with Cove Rangers and ripped up their deal with Kelty Hearts.

It will see Cooper Masson, Joe Teasdale and Lewis Carroll switch from Kelty to Cove for the rest of the season.
