Coronation Street’s Billy Mayhew actor Daniel Brocklebank has shared a glimpse into his private life with his partner

Coronation Street’s Daniel Brocklebank has shared a selfie with his actor boyfriend, leaving fans swooning over the “handsome couple”.
Daniel joined the ITV soap back in 2014 playing vicar Billy Mayhew and it didn’t take him long to become a firm favourite. The character also had his fair share of big storylines – from murder to drug addiction.
As well as his hard-hitting storylines, Billy has also had several love interests on the soap, including Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce) and husband Paul Foreman (Peter Ash) – who tragically died in 2024 after a battle with MND (motor neurone disease).
However, last year – and much to the shock of fans – it was confirmed that bosses had written Billy out of the soap. Fast forward to January 2026, and Billy was killed off during the programme’s crossover with Emmerdale.

In the jaw-dropping episode, Billy and several other Weatherfield residents were involved in a catastrophic vehicle pile-up on the road. And tragically Billy – who had been driving the minibus – was left to die in the explosion by evil Theo Silverton (James Cartwright).
Away from the soap, actor Daniel is loved-up with Jordan Coulthard who is an actor, musician and former police officer. The pair went Instagram official a few years back in 2023 and have gone from strength to strength ever since.

Recently, the pair enjoyed a sun-soaked trip and took to Instagram to give fans a look inside their lush holiday. On Sunday (January 25) Daniel shared an adorable photo of him posing next to Jordan on their trip.
He captioned the post: “That was a welcome break.” Daniel’s fans were quick to send their support to the happy couple in the comments section. One person said: “Very handsome couple! Glad you had a lovely break.” Another added: “Gorgeous couple.”

In 2024, Jordan gushed about Daniel following the release of his dance track Climax. The musician said that his actor partner gave him the confidence boost he needed to realise his musical ambitions.
Jordan said: “Dan is so supportive and while I started all this stuff with my music way before me and Dan knew each other, I think to be honest he has given me the kick up the backside I needed.
“He lives in a different world to me, and he said ‘it is absolutely achieveable’ in terms of my music goals. Where I grew up was a tiny town, and having these dreams of releasing music, they were like ‘yeah that’s great but you need a real job.’
“Dan has really ignited something in me, to realise that this isn’t an out there goal, it can happen, he’s been one of my biggest supporters.”
