A serious crash on a section of the M25 has sparked a partial closure of the UK’s busiest motorway, with drivers facing traffic chaos and severe delays. It’s believed that traffic has backed up to the Dartford Crossing as National Highways reports five miles of congestion.
Two of the four lanes on the anti-clockwise section at junction 30 have been closed following a crash that left an overturned car. Essex Police, Essex Fire Service, and the East of England Ambulance Service have rushed to the scene. National Highways East wrote on X: “NEW INCIDENT. #M25 anti-clockwise at J30 (#A13, #Thurrock, #Lakeside, #Tilbury) #Essex.
