This is a remake of the PS2 platformer, in the same vein as 2022’s Pac-Man World Re-Pac’s revival of the PS1 original.
Anyway, it’s a colourful 3D platformer about collecting fruit and defeating the ghosts as you venture across Pac-Land.
As well as the visual upgrade, Pac-Man World 2 Re-Pac introduces local co-op; a second player can join in as Pac-Drone, able to shoot at enemies and vacuum up dots.
Additionally, a new landing target below Pac-Man allows you to better judge where you’ll land, which is a nice feature.
The remake also includes stage missions which, when completed, reward you with special items, such as costumes for Pac-Man or figures you can put on display.
The game is heading to PS5 and PS4 on 26th September 2025. Are you interested in playing Pac-Man World 2 Re-Pac? Un-Pac your thoughts in the comments section below.
