Victoria Beckham has posted an emotional tribute to her family and called husband David her “everything” amid a huge fall out with her son Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz.
The Beckhams – minus Brooklyn – appeared at an event in Paris tonight to mark Victoria’s latest accolade. It is the first time the whole family have been seen together following Brooklyn’s shocking statement, where he accused his parents of trying to ruin his relationship, controlling him and “inappropriate” dancing at his wedding.
Putting the drama behind them, Victoria took to social media to share a gushing message about her award and her family. She wrote: “I’m so honoured to be named a Chevalière de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres by the French Ministry of Culture. I have always deeply admired the French aesthetic and the seriousness with which it treats fashion: as a form of art.

“So to be recognised here and embraced in this way, is a profound privilege — one that reflects decades of commitment and dedication. My sincere thanks to the French Minister of Culture, Rachida Dati for this honour.”
She also heaped praise on her family and David, adding: “Thank you also to business partners who believed in me, my family, and especially David — my husband, and original investor. I couldn’t be more grateful, you are my everything xx.”
In the sweet post, she showed off the huge award, just days after Brooklyn’s strong statement.
“My parents have been trying endlessly to ruin my relationship since before my wedding, and it hasn’t stopped. My mum cancelled making Nicola’s dress in the eleventh hour despite how excited she was to wear her design, forcing her to urgently find a new dress. Weeks before our big day, my parents repeatedly pressured and attempted to bribe me into signing away the rights to my name, which would have affected me, my wife, and our future children,” he wrote.
“They were adamant on me signing before my wedding date because then the terms of the deal would be initiated. My holdout affected the payday, and they have never treated me the same since. During the wedding planning, my mum went so far as to call me “evil” because Nicola and I chose to include my Nanny Sandra, and Nicola’s Naunni at our table, because they both didn’t have their husbands. Both of our parents had their own tables equally adjacent to ours.”
Brooklyn and Nicola were spotted a few days ago enjoying a dog walk together, with the amateur chef supported by his wife and the Peltz family amid his estrangement from his own family.
