Indie rock band Kaiser Chiefs will perform at the Newmarket July Course on Saturday, August 22, as part of Summer Saturday Live, their first appearance at the venue since 2019.
The Leeds-formed band, which includes frontman Ricky Wilson, bassist Simon Rix, guitarist Andrew ‘Whitey’ White, keyboardist Nick ‘Peanut’ Baines, and drummer Vijay Mistry, are known for hits such as Oh My God, I Predict A Riot, and Ruby.
It comes after the band headlined the main stage at Latitude in Henham Park, near Southwold, in July last year.

“As 2025 marks the 20th anniversary of their debut album Employment, you can be sure to hear all your favourite hits when they headline Summer Saturday Live.”
Since forming in 2000, Kaiser Chiefs have released eight studio albums, including the Mercury-nominated Employment and chart-topping records Yours Truly, Angry Mob and Education Education Education and War.
The band has sold eight million albums worldwide, earned three Brit Awards, and won an Ivor Novello Award for Album of the Year.

Ms Able said: “The line-up for Newmarket Nights in 2026 is now complete and incredibly strong, offering something for everyone, with headliners spanning a wide range of genres.
“We can’t wait to welcome many of you this summer for some remarkable evenings of music and racing.”
