Champions League
Right, let’s focus on the Champions League.
The final round of matches in the league phase will take place on Wednesday, with every one of the 36 teams in action and all matches kicking off at the same time – 20:00 GMT.
All six of the English sides that qualified – Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham, Newcastle, Chelsea and Manchester City – have secured their path into the knockout stages with one match remaining.
None of the Premier League sides can finish lower than 24th, meaning they can not be eliminated from the competition at the end of the league phase.
The question is, how many can seal a place in the top eight?
Remember, the top eight sides go straight through to the last 16, while those that finish from ninth to 24th will need to win a knockout play-off game, played over two legs in February, to progress.
