Not only was Tadej Pogacar the fastest by far to complete the 3.338 kilometers of racing from Lille to Paris this July, the Slovenian was also the fastest man to pass several timed segments on a popular (not only) cycling platform Strava. These segment called ‘KOM’ are beloved target goals especially among amateur community, but when a phenomenal rider such as Pogacar arrives, nobody stands a chance.

Pogacar’s most prized ‘KOM trophies’ will be the times he set on Hautacam, Col de la Loze and particularly impressive was his ride up Mont Ventoux – by far best in the famed climbs’ history. In total, Pogacar claimed a total of 362 new KOMs, far surpassing Lenny Martinez in second place with 126.

However it is important to note that not all riders actively & publicly upload their activities to Strava, which is also the case for Jonas Vingegaard who would’ve surely taken a large chunk of his Slovenian rivals’ best times if he did.
