Coronation Street spoilers follow.

Coronation Street has revealed a first look at Aadi Alahan as his secret torment boils over and he finally comes clean to Lauren Bolton.

Aadi recently threw a party in order to overhaul his ‘nice guy’ image, but was panicked after Brody Michaelis left a cup behind that was spiked with LSD. Lauren accidentally downed the drink and was plagued by hallucinations of her abuser Joel Deering.

Aadi looked after her and let her stay at the Alahans on the night of the party, though he has since neglected to tell Lauren the entire story of the night, fearing that it could jeopardise their bond.

In an emotional teaser clip, which gives fans a glimpse at Friday’s (8 August) episode, a self-loathing Aadi heads to get more booze when Lauren blocks his path. Lauren, who is determined to repay the favour after he helped her, tells Aadi that he has “had enough”.

Aadi snaps, telling Lauren that she was spiked because she drank his laced drink, and that he’s been hiding it all from her. As he tearfully admits the truth, just how will it affect their relationship?

In another teaser clip, from Monday’s (4 August) episode, Abi Webster tells Debbie that she’s not yet ready to play happy families after finding out that Kevin lied about still having cancer.

Debbie reminds Abi that she’s done worse things to Kevin in the past. When Abi admits that she’s not in love with Kevin anymore, Debbie encourages her to be careful what she throws away.
