Images like this one above, which was taken by 19-year-old Riley, have been shortlisted in the youth category of the 2026 Sony World Photography Awards.
It shows a man looking out over Lake Kawaguchi to Mount Fuji framed by bright red and orange autumn leaves.
The overall winner from the 10 images will be announced in April.
