Coronation Street spoilers follow.
Coronation Street could expose Will Driscoll’s savage attack on Daniel Osbourne next week, as suspicious Daniel learns the truth about his student’s volatile temper. Is it only a matter of time before Will has to explain himself?
When Daniel meets his supposed attacker, an imprisoned man called Colin, he realises immediately that the guy is innocent. Could Daniel uncover the truth?
“Daniel’s attacker is hiding in plain sight,” our Corrie source points out. “Despite Maggie Driscoll’s best attempts to cover up her grandson’s crime, Will’s jealous streak means his temper can’t go unnoticed much longer…”
Daniel was left for dead in the ginnel on Christmas Day, when vulnerable Will attacked him in a fit of jealousy.

Twisted Megan Walsh is grooming Will, promising him a future while rubbing her romance with Daniel in the teenager’s face.
But despite Daniel’s suspicions that Will has an inappropriate crush on Megan, he is oblivious to the real reason he was attacked.
As part of a restorative justice programme, Daniel meets the man who was jailed for assaulting him after Maggie’s sly scheming on Christmas night. But once he meets Colin, it doesn’t take long for the teacher to realise this wasn’t the man who left him for dead.
Later that day, Daniel’s suspicions are raised even further when he overhears Maggie scolding her grandson over his terrible temper.

“I have to do it justice to serve the people who have been through it,” Beth told BBC Radio York.
“There’s been a rise in cases, and a few in Manchester, so you just have to try and handle it with as much care as you possibly can.”
Beth added that Will eventually “comes to realise he is a victim [and that] it’s not love and she will get her comeuppance”.
Coronation Street has worked on Will and Megan’s grooming storyline with support from Barnardo’s. Support and information is available via the charity’s website.
