Moira Dingle’s fate on Emmerdale could lie in the hands of another character on the ITV soap.
Next week, one character vows to help free her from prison after the farm owner was charged with double murder. Prior to this she was accused of being in cahoots with Celia Daniels, after Celia’s crimes were rumbled by police.
Celia had been exploiting workers on her farm in a modern slavery scandal, while she was also running a drugs empire. Amid this, one of the farm workers died, Anya, and she had Bear Wolf bury her body on Moira’s farm.
Celia had it all planned out, burying Anya in one of Moira’s blankets and on her land so that if the truth came out, the blame would go on Moira. In the weeks since this happened, Celia was murdered by her son Ray Walters, with her body then buried in the same grave.

Just weeks ago, the IDs Celia had at her house belonging to her exploited workers were found by Joe Tate. These exposed her crimes, and with that they were planted, by a reluctant Robert Sugden, in Moira’s home.
So this week things worsened when the bodies were discovered, and Moira was accused of killing both Anya and Celia due to the DNA evidence. Next week, Moira remains locked up with her desperate husband Cain Dingle trying to get her out.
New spoilers have teased someone could come to her rescue though, but not Bear. Bear is back in the village, and Cain is desperate for him to help Moira be freed, given Bear was one of the workers exploited by Ray and Celia.
Fans know that Bear was with Anya when she died and buried her body, so he knows that Moira did not kill Anya despite the DNA clues. He may also have an idea that Ray killed Celia, and could possibly help Moira be released.

This leads to Cain trying to force Bear to go to the police as he spirals, but he’s interrupted. But might Victoria Sugden be the one to save Moira instead, amid her own killer secret?
Just recently she was blackmailed by Joe Tate into selling her farm land to him, after he videoed her killing her brother John Sugden. This blackmail led to Joe also making Robert plant the evidence to set up Moira to get his hands on her land too, and next week Victoria finds this out.
Victoria considers coming clean to Cain and even Moira about what Joe is up to, and how he forced Robert to plant the documents that got Moira in trouble. She decides the only way is for her to hand herself in for her own crime, and expose Joe in the process. Soon Victoria is visiting Moira in prison, but what will she say and could this lead to Victoria’s exit from the show?
