Lucinda Strafford has been handed a devastating setback just hours before the latest instalment of Love Island All Stars hits our screens.

The reality personality has endured a turbulent stint on the dating show thus far after her explosive arrival as a bombshell alongside Curtis Pritchard. Her opening move upon entering the villa saw her splitting up established duo Ciaran Davies and Samie Elishi in a jaw-dropping recoupling.

She subsequently formed bonds with several other Islanders, including Tommy Bradley, before choosing to chase Sean Stone whilst her own partner was absent from the villa. The decision left Tommy, along with Sean’s partner Belle Hassan, completely blindsided and triggered a furious row that has rumbled on for days.

Last night (February 4), the atmosphere in the villa finally seemed considerably more relaxed with Belle and Lucinda burying the hatchet. During a chat on the sunbeds, Lucinda apologised to Belle, saying: “I’m really sorry, I do feel dreadful… you deserve better than him [Sean] anyway.”

Meanwhile, a recoupling ceremony enabled Sean and Lucinda to make their partnership official and share a bed for the first time. The couple were glowing after Sean chose Lucinda at the firepit, despite Belle grumbling “b******s” whenever Sean spoke about his emotions during his speech, reports OK!

Lucinda’s loved ones even shared a heartfelt message on her official Instagram account following the episode, revealing that things were “looking brighter for our girl.” They continued: “We are so happy that she’s got that smile back! It’s always a wild ride in the villa, but all part of the journey.”

Whilst the pair now appear far more content, it seems a dumping is on the horizon with viewers being invited to vote for their preferred couples at the close of the latest episode.

In disappointing news for Lucinda, her chances of being part of a victorious couple have plummeted to 16/1 – amongst the poorest odds for the female contestants, according to BOYLE Sports.

Her American co-star Kyra is also facing 16/1 odds, whilst Imani languishes further back at 20/1. Nevertheless, Lucinda’s partner Sean is being backed as having stronger prospects of securing a winning partnership, currently priced at 7/1.

During tonight’s instalment (February 5), audiences will witness the comeback of the beloved Snog, Marry, Pie task. But in an exciting new development, the Islanders will have the freedom to throw their pie at any contestant they choose, regardless of gender.

Love Island All Stars airs Sundays to Fridays at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX. For the latest showbiz, TV, movie and streaming news, go to the new **Everything Gossip** website.
