A mother-of-two has presented a cheque for €6,000 to the Kerry Mental Health Association after completing a skydive fundraisers.
Carley Stack, a mental health nurse from Ardfert, completed the Leap for Life skydive fundraiser for suicide and mental health awareness.
The Kerry Mental Health Association supports people in Kerry with mental health challenges, their families and carers through befriending, funding community mental health educational and therapeutic activities.
Carley’s daughters Sophie and Emma cheered Carley on, while her husband Dawid and her daugher’s godfather Oskar also took part in the event on 18th June in Offaly.
Carley said it was a terrifying experience but her skydive partner was calm and helped her through it, while she also thanked everyone who donated.
