There are six Challenge Cup and two NRL games this weekend that will be available for fans to watch from the comfort of their own home, and he is how you can see each one.
After recent announcements, it means that over a third of the Cup games this weekend will be either streamed or shown on free-to-air TV, in what a positive thing for getting more eyes on the sport.
We already knew three ties would be broadcast, with the first tie announced to be streamed being London Broncos and Bradford Bulls’ clash in the capital this Sunday.
The BBC cameras will be in operation for that one, as Jason Demetriou’s side look to upset their Super League opposition.
The Sportsman will now show two games, the first being tonight [Friday], as St Helens travel to Cumbria to face Workington Town.
Tomorrow [Saturday], will see Widnes Vikings host Leeds Rhinos, and that game will also be streamed on The Sportsman.
Three further games have been confirmed to have a live stream, though they will all need paying for, starting with York Knights’ tie with Barrow Raiders on Saturday evening.
As with the majority of Barrow’s home matches, this tie will be streamed live on LoungesTV, and to watch this tie, tickets cost £8. Kick-off in Cumbria will be at 6pm.
Leigh Leopards have a later kick-off of 7pm, as they travel to face North Wales Crusaders. ClubberTV will provide a stream of the tie, and has a price of £7.50.
On Sunday, Catalans Dragons travel to West Yorkshire to face Batley Bulldogs, in what is the first meeting between the two clubs in just short of 10 years.
The stream for this game will be done by the Batley club, with tickets available for £4.
Moving down under, there are also two NRL pre-season matches that can be watched live on Sky Sports.
Both games will take place on Saturday morning, as the four teams heading to Las Vegas later this month kick off their 2026 campaign.
North Queensland Cowboys will travel to Canterbury Bulldogs, whilst St George Illawarra Dragons take on Newcastle Knights as the Australian competition has it’s first taste of action for the year.
