The Masked Singer UK spoilers follow.
The Masked Singer UK has confirmed its finalists for its seventh season, though it didn’t come without plenty of drama as a BBC presenter and a star of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! were unmasked in a double elimination.
Tonight’s (7 February) episode of the ITV reality series saw comedian Katherine Ryan join the panel as they made their best attempts to guess the identity of the remaining acts, three of whom would make it to next week’s final.
After the first round of performances, it was Sloth who faced the chopping block after their rendition of Paul McCartney and The Frog Chorus’ ‘We All Stand Together’ didn’t do enough to impress audiences.
It was eventually revealed that broadcaster and adventurer Ben Fogle was underneath the mask, with the star saying: “There’s something incredibly liberating about no one knowing who you are and being able to just let go.

“It’s been joyous and really fun. Ridiculous. I made a commitment that if I was going to do this, I was going to go 100%. I don’t do things by halves and I think I’ve delivered. I’ve never done any singing but I really loved doing it.”
While the panel wasn’t successful in deducing Sloth’s identity, Mo Gilligan was on the money when it came to Can of Worms, who was the second act to be eliminated on the night following their rendition of John Legend’s ‘Ordinary People’.
Mo had predicted last week that JLS member Marvin Humes was underneath the mask, and it proved to be a good hunch as the I’m a Celebrity star was unveiled by host Joel Dommett.

“I know you hear this from everyone but this is just the most bonkers show to be a part of,” said the singer, who has also co-hosted The Voice UK. “But it’s the most fun. I’ve been lucky enough to do it and I got to sing one of the songs I sing to my kids at home.
“What’s really strange for me is I haven’t sung by myself in a long time. I’m used to being with three other guys on stage and that’s quite a comfort. A bit of security… So for me, it was nice doing something by myself where singing was concerned.”
The exits of Fogle and Humes are agonising for the pair given they were just a week away from the final, but attention will now turn to the showpiece event as Toastie, Conkers and Moth battle it out for the crown.
The Masked Singer UK finale airs on Saturday 14 February at 7pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
