The 2026 Six Nations is under way, with France getting their title defence up and running with an impressive 36-14 win over Ireland on Thursday night.
There are two more games taking place this Saturday, including a huge clash at Twickenham, where old rivals England and Wales go head to head.
Scotland come into this tournament on the back of an eventful autumn, where they came close to toppling the mighty New Zealand, and were also edged out by Argentina.
They will hope to improve on their showing of two wins last year, and will surely be hoping to pick up a victory against Italy in Rome.
The Italians, however, are not the whipping boys they once were, and will view this as an opportunity for a victory themselves, after a reasonably successful autumn campaign that yielded an impressive 26-19 win over Australia.
Here’s everything you need to know about today’s Six Nations matches.

Italy head coach Gonzalo Quesada: “I don’t know if it’s the ideal game because Scotland lost a couple of games they shouldn’t lose.
“They played amazing rugby against the All Blacks and Argentina but they finish losing. And I think that will increase the level of focus they’re going to have.
“They also lost two years ago in Italy, so it’s a must-win in Rome. So I think we’re going to have a really tough, determined Scottish team coming to Rome.
“Honestly, because we don’t have a lot of time with the Italian team together, I like when we start away, because that takes away a bit of pressure.”
Scotland head coach Gregor Townsend: “It’s our most important game [Italy]. And when you look at the context of the Six Nations it’s a lot about momentum.
“You build momentum through performances, and with three games in a row this year it’s going to be massive.
“You roll on to next week pretty quickly so getting a performance and win will really help how you’re going to play the rest of the tournament.”
England head coach Steve Borthwick: “England versus Wales is always a special occasion in the rugby calendar. It’s a fierce rivalry with a long history, and one that brings a huge challenge every time we meet.
“We expect Wales to bring a kicking game, so we’ll need to be accurate in how we respond to that challenge. For us, our focus is on executing our game plan and maintaining discipline throughout the match.
“We’re excited to get the Championship underway at a packed-out Allianz Stadium. The support we receive at home is outstanding and always gives the players a huge lift.”
Wales head coach Steve Tandy: “Wales v England is always a special game with all the history behind the fixture. We know they’re playing some outstanding rugby and they’re in great form. But I know how much it means to our players playing for the nation and representing Wales.
“The way the squad trained this week has been great. I want to see us get out and really attack the game on Saturday and give the best account of ourselves. Opening the Six Nations at Twickenham is historic and it’s something we can’t wait to do.”
