Still has brought Karim Belhocine, his predecessor as head coach at Royal Charleroi and K.V. Kortrijk, with him to Vicarage Road as first-team coach, while Charlie Daniels has accepted the a role in the same position after his stint as caretaker head coach.
Daniels “quickly earned the respect of the technical staff” in the last fortnight, said chairman Scott Duxbury on Monday, and “maintains the link with the academy”.
Garrido also takes his place among Still’s staff having joined the club in 2024 as a member of Tom Cleverley’s backroom team.
The 50-year-old was retained under Paulo Pezzolano and Javi Gracia, gaining popularity at the squad for his individual work with players.
Mamadou Doumbia specifically celebrated with Garrido after scoring against Burnley last season, a nod to the Spaniard’s work.
It is understood the club are aiming to bring in another coach to complete Still’s team.

Lunci, meanwhile, has been a member of the goalkeeper coaching unit since 2021 and will remain as the sole coach after the departure of Inigo Arteaga.
The club are also aiming to add an analyst to work with Still in the coming weeks.
The new head coach will face the press for the first time on Thursday, ahead of his first game in charge of the Hornets at Preston North End on Saturday afternoon.
He took training for the first time on Tuesday after, he told the club, a “whirlwind” few days since his resignation from the caretaker head coach role at Anderlecht on Monday night.
