Super League round one is set to see bumper crowds all across the league, with Warrington Wolves set to break a 52-year attendance record.
The Wolves host St Helens on Friday evening in one of, if not the, clash of the round, as Sam Burgess and Paul Rowley’s men get their seasons underway.
Wire will be looking to improve on 2025, whilst the Red Vee are heading into a new era under Rowley. For both teams, it starts at the Halliwell Jones Stadium and they are set to battle it out in front of a sell-out crowd.
Warrington confirmed on social media that there will be a full house in attendance this week, as fans witness Super League in the flesh for the first time since October, where Hull KR emerged as Grand Final winners.
The Wolves-Saints game isn’t the only tie to boast impressive figures, with nearly all seven matches set to have impressive crowd numbers.

York Knights will see their first-ever Super League game against Hull KR played in front of a packed out LNER Community Stadium, with the Knights revealing earlier this week that the game is close to a sell-out.
Leigh Leopards confirmed on Thursday morning that less than 150 tickets were left for their clash with Leeds Rhinos on Friday. Two teams who were play-off competitors in 2025, that game is certainly not one to miss.
Bradford Bulls will make their first Super League appearance since 2014, when they travel to Hull FC this week. The Black and Whites have confirmed that tickets are “strictly limited” and some areas of the stadium have sold out.
Super League being back this week has clearly got people talking, and the impressive ticket sale announcements are a huge positive step as we enter the new campaign.
Let’s hope that crowd figures remain that healthy across the season, as the top flight is set to be one of the most competitive we have ever seen, with over half of the division capable of making the finals this year.
