Now, in a letter dated February 12, Thanet council granted planning permission.

The opening date is not yet known.

The company was founded in 1981 and has more than 63 stores across the UK and Ireland.

The bakery and coffee business offers cakes, pastries, sausage rolls, sandwiches and muffins.

It already has branches at The Mall in Maidstone, Hempstead Valley Shopping Centre in Gillingham, The Pentagon in Chatham, St George’s Centre in Gravesend and Canterbury High Street.
