Bunkerbay is expanding its facilities by opening a new facility in Christchurch with a free launch event on Saturday, March 7.
Organisers say the event will give guests the opportunity to explore the new facility, experience the simulators first-hand, and get a feel for what Bunkerbay Christchurch has to offer.
Since opening its first location in Poole, Bunkerbay has become a popular spot for golf enthusiasts, welcoming members, casual players, and local businesses.

Following a highly successful first 16 months in Poole, owners say more than 350,000 balls have been hit on its simulators.
On their website, co-founders of Bunkerbay Craig and Brad say:
“We believe that golf should be more than just a game; it’s an experience that brings people together, fosters community, and nurtures skill.
“That’s why we built Bunkerbay to operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, providing a high-tech, comfortable environment where anyone can pick up a club, refine their swing, or simply relax with friends.”

The company’s initial success is what led to their recent expansion plans in Christchurch.
Bunkerbay’s Christchurch location is said to feature three golf simulators powered by TrackMan technology.
This technology delivers highly accurate ball tracking, detailed performance data, and access to a wide selection of world-class virtual courses.
In addition to its simulator bays, the new facility will also feature a dedicated indoor short game and putting area, providing players a wide variety of golfing experiences in one venue.

Also occupying the top floor will be the “Advantage Padel” facility.
Here, Bunkerbay’s aim is to merge premium indoor sport, coaching, and a social space all under one roof.
This will also serve as a new base for the P9 Academy as it expands its coaching from the likes of local professionals Philippe Bonfanti and Byron Hutchinson.
Coaches plan on revamping their programmes, using what they describe as the very best indoor golf experience available locally.
Tickets for the free event in March can be saved on the company website.
