We have reached the Sunday final of the ATP Delray Beach Open, and the home fans will be excited for this all-American clash. No. 5 seed Tommy Paul squares off against Sebastian Korda in what should feature some terrific tennis from two in-form players. As always, we at LWOT have the preview and prediction for the match. But who will lift the trophy?
ATP Delray Beach Final Prediction
Tommy Paul vs Sebastian Korda
Head-to-Head: Paul 2-4 Korda
A myriad of injuries slowed down Tommy Paul in 2025, knocking him outside of the top 20 for the first time since February 2023. Â After an early exit in Dallas, he has bounced back with four win at ATP Delray Beach, including taking out top seed Taylor Fritz in straight-sets. Paul looks to be completely healthy and ready for a strong spring and summer.
Like Paul, Sebastian Korda dealt with his fair share of injuries in 2025. After missing most of the summer and falling to No. 86 in the world, he has battled back with a strong start to the season. Since losing in the first round of the Australian Open, Korda has reached the San Diego Challenger final, Dallas quarterfinals, and now the ATP Delray Beach final.
Korda won the first three meetings bewtween these two, but Paul has taken two of the last three and has really rounded into one of the top 15 players in the world. I expect a fun, high-paced match with tremendous shotmaking from both sides. However, I give the slight edge to the elder American. This is essentially Paul’s home tournament as he searches for his first title since October 2024.
Prediction: Paul in 3
