Theo Walcott has missed the mark with his latest Bukayo Saka take.
Saka has long been one of the Premier League’s biggest stars.
The face of Mikel Arteta’s project, the 24-year-old is highly regarded everywhere, but that doesn’t mean he gets into certain conversations.
One such example is when you compare him with Mohamed Salah.

The comparison is understandable given their position on the pitch, but Saka has a way to go to prove Walcott right.
Theo Walcott claims Bukayo Saka would start over Mo Salah for Liverpool
It hasn’t been a perfect season for Salah, nor for Liverpool.
The Egyptian hasn’t discovered the form of last season, where he put down one of the greatest individual campaigns in Premier League history. This campaign, doubts over Salah’s Liverpool future have been more of a hot topic than his performances.
Appearing on Prime Sport, Walcott was running through the sides he thinks his starboy would start for.

In fact, there are only two sides in Europe that he thinks have wingers better than the Arsenal star — Barcelona and Bayern Munich.
Arsenal fans — and ex-players it would seem — rate Saka highly, but he hasn’t done enough to dethrone Salah.
Why Mohamed Salah is yet to be surpassed by Bukayo Saka
As we discussed, Salah isn’t quite the player he was last season, and all signs point to Saka overtaking him in the coming years.
But the 34-year-old, in his worst season for years, is still producing at a higher level than the Arsenal winger.

His 15 goal involvements is more than what the England star has managed in a much better side, and until he can bring his team to a title, this is an unfair comparison to make.
Saka and Salah have been compared for years, but most would still put the Egyptian ahead, biases aside.
