Park Life is designed to showcase Rock Hall and Moses Gate Country Park and the competition is open to all ages.
Submissions are now open and will close on March 1.
A spokesman said: “If you have a photograph taken in Moses Gate Country Park, be this of flora, fauna, heritage, or people, submit this to: CreativeBolton@bolton.gov.uk, and include your name, age, and the subject of the photograph. Photographs should be no smaller than 1MB, and no larger than 5MB. They should be submitted as Jpegs.
“Entries are limited to three photographs per person, and once submissions close, all will be considered by a panel for exhibition.
“The panel will also select the best photos as prize winners.”
Successful submissions will then be printed professionally, and then installed around the park and within Rock Hall itself.
The competition is free to enter.
Prizes will be £300, £150 and £75.
