Sky Sports’ coverage of Manchester United’s win over Everton featured Red Devils legend Edwin van der Sar as the guest analyst.
Van der Sar interviewed United man of the match Senne Lammens, before he spent time discussing his own career. He was then being asked to listen to and comment on Jamie Carragher’s top 10 list of Premier League goalkeepers.
Carragher’s top 10 is below. He named Van der Sar sixth, which we would say is far too low.

Edwin van der Sar appeared genuinely put out to be only regarded sixth, questioning Thibaut Courtois’ record in the Premier League with Chelsea.
Van der Sar also expressed his reservations over his successor David de Gea, a fine shot stopper, but noted that he struggled to command his penalty box.
The debate over Van der Sar vs De Gea is an interesting one – but also a topic that United In Focus readers have already delivered a strong verdict on.
