Hull FC have been dealt yet another brutal injury blow, as confirmed in their team news for Friday night’s Super League clash.
Friday night sees four Super League clubs in action across two games with the team news now confirmed, including for the game between Hull FC and York Knights.
The Black and Whites will be looking to bounce back from a heavy defeat to Wigan Warriors that also saw them lose star man Will Pryce to a season-ending injury, with Hull FC confirming on Monday that the 23-year-old had torn his ACL and it’s now been announced that second-row signing Joe Batchelor will miss six weeks with a calf injury.
It’s a devastating blow for the club who are already without a number of key names and they’ll face a very game York Knights, who will be eager to bounce back from a wide defeat to Leeds Rhinos.
Meanwhile, Friday’s other game pits two of the Super League clubs without a win against each other with Castleford Tigers hosting Huddersfield Giants after they both suffered narrow defeats in round two.

John Cartwright makes four changes to his squad as Will Pryce (ACL) and Joe Batchelor (calf) drop out through injury with the latter the latest injury blow suffered by the club.
Logan Moy and Lloyd Kemp also drop out hinting that it will be Davy Litten at full-back, with Zak Hardaker, Jake Arthur, John Asiata and Will Kirby all being named in the squad.

York Knights
York Knights have also named their squad and that’s seen two changes with Kieran Buchanan and John Sagaga dropping out, making way for new signings Myles Harrison and David Nofoualuma.
Nofoaluma joins the club on loan from Newcastle Thunder after Halifax Panthers’ liqudation whilst Harrison is also loaned in from Newcastle, having left the Knights to join Thunder at the start of 2026.

Zac Cini returns from injury and Jack Ashworth is set for his debut after serving a seven-game ban. All of Semi Valemei, Louis Senior and Cain Robb remain out injured.

The Giants’ injury issues are already evident with Luke Robinson only naming a 20-man squad for the game. Sam Hewitt drops out through suspension, whilst Archie Sykes and Marshall Land also drop out.
Zach Brown and Jacob Algar are called up with Huddersfield confirming that Adam Swift, Niall Evalds and Adam Clune are still a few weeks off being back in the squad, whereas Harry Rushton and Joe Greenwood long term absentees.
