Bella’s Bakes Bolton was “over the moon” when the mum of Corrie actor Lucas Hodgson-Wale got in touch to request a special cake for his 18th birthday.
Lucas, who plays Will Driscoll in the ITV soap, turns 18 on February 25.
The Bolton-born actor joined the cobbles in late 2025 as part of the programme’s hard-hitting grooming storyline.

Bella Riding, 22, who runs the business alongside her mum Natalie, said the family are huge fans of the long-running show.
She said: “We were really excited when his mum messaged asking for a Coronation Street-themed cake for her son who plays Will Driscoll.
“We’re big Corrie fans in this house so we couldn’t wait to get to work creating something super fun and exciting.
“From royalty – Princess Anne – to soap royalty, Will Driscoll, we’ve had a great start to the year.”
Bella began baking sweet treats for classmates around a decade ago and has since turned her passion into a thriving Bolton business.
Earlier this year, the bakery also landed a royal honour after being chosen to create a cake for Princess Anne.
Princess Anne is president of the RDA, and when the group at Dyneley in Burnley were celebrating their 50th anniversary, Bella’s former food tech teacher Catherine Dower got in touch asking if they could bake a cake.
It was only later that Bella and her mum discovered the cake would be part of a royal visit.
Now, after serving up a slice of royalty and soap stardom in the same year, Bella’s Bakes is continuing to rise as one of Bolton’s sweetest success stories.
