Jodie Ramsey may need to watch out on Coronation Street, as fans think a character will be out to get her.
Amid her cruel tricks and her targeting a number of residents, one character seemed suspicious of her on Thursday. Bethany Platt made it clear she did not buy her story about her sister Shona’s missing wedding ring.
Shona had misplaced the ring at the salon in front of Jodie and her niece Bethany. So when Jodie claimed to find it at the house, Bethany was baffled and not sure she believed the tale.
We saw Bethany confiding in Maria Connor that something was not right with her claims, and that Jodie may be hiding something. Fans are now convinced it will be Bethany that figures out what else Jodie has been hiding, before triggering her explosive downfall.

Taking to social media, one fan said: “Bethany will out her!” as another agreed: “Bethany is getting suspicious of Jodie.” A third fan noted: “She’s a journalist so should have a little bit of curiosity.”
A fourth fan said: “Bethany knowing there’s something off with Jodie,” as a fifth added: “Bethany don’t trust Jodie.” One more comment read: “She is the character that has Jodie sussed already
The comments kept on coming as another said: “Bethany got her suspicious eye out,” while one said: “Bethany’s cottoning onto Jodie now.” A further comment read: “Bethany has Jodie sussed.”

One final message shared: “I think after today’s episode Bethany will be the one to work out what she’s hiding and she might expose her. Bethany hasn’t had many scenes and no huge plot since she came back.”
It comes as fans believed they had worked out why Jodie was targeting Bernie Winter. Viewers learned this week that she was the one who broke into Bernie’s home, and destroyed her wedding photo.
It seems to be linked to a revenge plan after Bernie snapped at her in the café prior to the incident. But fans are convinced there has to be more to it than that, with Jodie seemingly being out to get her.
One fan said: “She could be Bernie’s granddaughter.” Another theorised: “Probably secret daughter,” as a third said: “I bet Jodie is Bernie’s daughter.”

A fourth fan commented: “Maybe she’s another child of Bernie who she gave up for adoption.” A further theory said: “What if … Jodie is Kit’s twin sister? But Bernie doesn’t remember giving birth to twins.”
