Holger Rune is not afraid of making some surprise choices throughout his career on the ATP Tour.
Rune surprised many by working with Andre Agassi, the former world number one who helped give him some pointers.
The Dane has suffered some disappointing defeats recently, but Rune still believes he is not far away from Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz.
Although he was able to win a couple of matches at the Canadian Open, Rune was then beaten in the fourth round by Alexei Popyrin.
Popyrin was not on Rune’s list of the nicest players on the ATP Tour, but another Australian did make an appearance.

In a Tik Tok video for Overtime Tennis, Rune and other players on the ATP Tour were asked for the five players that they think are the nicest.
Rune agreed with both Daniil Medvedev and Francisco Cerundolo, the latter who he actually picked, by naming Alcaraz.
The world number nine also chose Gael Monfils and Ben Shelton, but the fifth player he named may come as a surprise to some.
Nick Kyrgios has been involved in spats with fellow ATP players before, but Rune claimed that he has always been nice to him.
“Carlos Alcaraz, very nice guy,” began Rune. “Gael Monfils, unbelievable guy. I think Cerundolo, Francisco. He is a very nice guy.
“With me Nick Kyrgios, he is a very nice guy with me! Ben Shelton he’s a good lad.”
What did Nick Kyrgios say he loved about Holger Rune?
It does not appear that this friendship is one-sided, with Kyrgios also recently complimenting Rune for something he recently said.
Rune received heavy criticism at Wimbledon this year for claiming that he would have beaten his opponent, Nicolas Jarry, nine times out of ten in ‘normal conditions’ after claiming he had a knee injury.
Despite the widespread backlash, Kyrgios admitted he actually liked what Rune said and could see himself in the 22-year-old.
“My villain of the week is Holger [Rune],” Kyrgios said last month. “I just love that comment, straight away saying that he would beat [Nicolas] Jarry nine times out of ten.
“That is like the cockiest comment ever but I like it. That is something I would have said in my press conferences.
“That is why I do like Holger. I do like that, and that has stirred up the media a little bit.”
