The Hole Inn One, a private indoor golf simulator, has opened at The Wheatsheaf in Beetham, offering a modern golfing experience within the Arnside & Silverdale National Landscape.

Located within a dedicated room at the 17th-century coaching inn, the simulator offers guests the chance to play world-famous courses or simply enjoy a relaxed round with friends, family, or colleagues.

Sally Schrieber, co-owner of The Wheatsheaf, said: “We wanted to create something that brings people together in a really special way.

“It’s not just about golf – it’s about spending time with friends or family, celebrating occasions, hosting small corporate gatherings, or just having fun in your own private space.”

The simulator is available to book by the hour, giving guests exclusive use of the space for the duration of their session.

The experience is designed to be both social and immersive, with the option to order food and drink directly to the room, including restaurant-quality meals, local ales, wines, and cocktails.

The project was part-funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund and represents a further investment in The Wheatsheaf.

The new attraction aims to boost year-round tourism and offer a fresh experience for both residents and visitors in South Lakeland.

Suitable for seasoned golfers, newcomers, families, and small groups, The Hole Inn One is now open for bookings.

Guests can combine their simulator session with a pub meal, Sunday lunch, or even an overnight stay in one of The Wheatsheaf’s boutique guest rooms.

The Wheatsheaf is a historic coaching inn dating back to the 17th century, located within the Arnside & Silverdale National Landscape.
