PinkPantheress has announced she won’t be making it to the Brits, hours before it is due to start.
The artist made history when she was announced as producer of the year by the Brit Awards earlier this week.
She became the first woman and the youngest ever recipient to be given the prize since it was created in 1977.
The 24-year-old is also nominated for two further awards for best artist of the year and best dance act.
However, it has now been revealed that she won’t be in attendance for tonight’s show.
Writing on her Instagram story, she wrote: ‘Devastated to say I won’t be able to make it to the Brits tonight.

‘But so grateful for all the love on the award. Good luck to the nominees!!’
Yesterday it was reported on X by Pop Base that the singer had two seats reserved at the ceremony, one for herself, and one for her handbag.
She was also revealed as an announcer on the trams in Manchester, while the city hosts the prestigious ceremony.
The Brit Awards are being held at the Co-op Live arena in the Northern city, and will be hosting names like Olivia Dean, Harry Styles, and Rosalia.
Amongst the nominees nominated alongside PinkPantheress for artist of the year are Dave, Lily Allen, Little Simz and Sam Fender.
Competing against the award-winning producer for best dance act is FKA twigs, Sammy Virji, Calvin Harris & Clementine Douglas.

Speaking about receiving the award for best producer, she said: ‘As the first woman to win this award, I’m grateful to be recognised.
‘My music production is the thing I’m proudest of, and I’ve worked really hard at it, so I hope this inspires others to pursue their passion.’
The only other female producer to have been nominated for the award until now had been Kate Bush for her 1989 album, The Sensual World.
PinkPantheress started creating music in her bedroom, and has since gone on to create huge hits like Illegal, Stateside and Boys a Liar Pt. 2.
She performed at a major stage during Glastonbury last year and posted the moment onto her Instagram, writing: ‘It was at this moment that I lost control and nearly cried my lashes off, but I didn’t, but I should’ve.
‘I loved it, thank you everyone for showing me support.’
