Shoppers have been warned about a number of food recall notices this week that affect popular snacks, puddings and curries. The Food Standards Agency has issued notices on a number of products from major UK supermarkets.
Tesco, Morrisons and Aldi have also issued their own warnings as they urge customers not to eat the affected items. This week, products have been recalled due to undeclared allergens as well as the presence of plastic.
Customers have been told how to request a refund from the supermarkets if they have a recalled item. Here, we have rounded up the food recall notices from the past week.

Indo Asian Foods’ Malabar Choice Spicy Kerala Mixture was pulled from shelves this week because it contains milk, which is not listed on the product’s label. The snack is sold in a 275g bag and carries the batch code ARC 109.
Its best-before date is December 2026. The mixture is a traditional Indian snack comprising various ingredients, including crunchy lentils, roasted nuts and aromatic spices.
The FSA said: “This product contains milk, making it a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents.”
Shoppers who have purchased the snack and have a milk intolerance have been strongly advised not to eat it. The FSA added: “Instead, return it to the store you purchased it from for a full refund (with or without a receipt). If you have any questions or require further assistance, please contact Indo Asian Foods by phone on 07377970314 or email accounts@indoasianfoods.com.”
