“The Diner” has officially opened in Pomona, New York, bringing a fully kosher, mid-century American diner concept to Rockland County. Located in the former Mount Ivy All American Diner building along Route 202, the restaurant reintroduces the classic roadside diner experience, now operating as a kosher meat establishment.

The restaurant is operated by the team behind Pies ‘n’ Fries, expanding their presence with a larger, full-service concept designed to replicate the look, feel, and menu of traditional American diners. Chef Isaac Bernstein has been involved with the owners in setting the restaurant’s menu and creating many of the recipes.

The opening marks the arrival of a true kosher diner format in an area with a large and growing kosher population.
